Member of Sytra's team

Céline, a bioengineer trained at UCLouvain, is a PhD Student funded by a FNRS grant. Her work focuses on the systemic study of intercropping in market gardening: How to choose and design them? Her PhD is conducted in a participatory manner, in collaboration with Walloon market gardeners.

Past experiences
Céline holds a master degree in agricultural science (UCLouvain). From 2017 to 2022, she undertook a PhD thesis in agricultural sciences at UCLouvain, supervised by Pr.Philippe Baret and Pr. Xavier Draye. Her PhD aimed at studying intercropping in market gardening through an explorative and participatory approach.

In Sytra
The work of Céline in Sytra is mainly linked to the characterization of production systems and the organization of food value chains, with a special focus on the identification of barriers preventing their sustainable transition. She also is the graphie designer of the team, in charge of producing infographies for the different research projects.
